Be Confident!

I thought that I might just get straight into it and tell you what confidence is to me. I grew up being extremely shy and an anxious person. I'm only 15 but I have grown a lot more confident in the past 2 years. Being quiet or shy does not define you as not confident either. I'm still quite shy. I find confidence by doing things I love and talking about things I love. Everyone has interests and talents and though I don't know my talents I'm sure I'm good at something!

I think it's important to act as happy and confident as you can because not only does it make you look more confident but it will gradually make you FEEL confident! As cheesy as it sounds, you have to believe in yourself. I've always found it hard to take that phrase seriously because I never believed in myself. I try to now. Don't get me wrong I doubt myself a lot but never completely. If you believe that you can do something it will keep you motivated to achieve!

With confidence you've won before you've started!

Arctic Monkeys Gig ~ Marlay Park

I have a huge interest in music and I love going to gigs and seeing my favorite bands live. I'd say I'm more of a band lover rather than individual artists. I went to see Arctic Monkeys in Marlay Park last saturday and oh my gosh. They were amazing. My friends and I left for Marlay park at 10 in the morning and got there at 10:45. We thought there would be at least 60 people in line ahead of us but to our surprise there was only around 7. We were told to move to another line and we ended up running and being at the very top! After a lengthy 5 hours, the gates finally opened! We ended up right at the barrier!! I still can't believe that there was 37,000 people at the concert and we managed to stay at the barrier. Royal blood, Miles Kane and Jake Bugg supported Arctic Monkeys! I really like Miles, he was really good and Josh from The Strypes watched his performance from the side of the stage! Jake Bugg was amazing too! He is one of my favourite solo artists at the moment. His performance of simple pleasures was beautiful! At 9pm Arctic Monkeys finally appeared on stage. The crowd went crazy. The atmosphere was ecstatic! Unfortunately, people were fainting or were causing trouble so they were taken out over our heads many times which was quite scary & distracting.

Overall it was without a doubt my favourite concert so far and a different experience to usual gigs. I also bought a T-Shirt! The songs they performed that I enjoyed most were 'Snap out of it', 'Brainstorm', 'Dancing shoes', 'My Propellor', 'Why'd you only call me when you're high?', 'A Certain Romance' and of course the final ending song and crowd engaging 'R u mine?'. I would do anything to go back to the concert- it was incredible! If any of you are seeing Arctic Monkeys live soon, I am so jealous of you and have a wonderful time! However, if you haven't listened to them GO, GO, GO!

Introduction

Hi, my name is Chloe. I'm 15 and I'm from Ireland. This blog will be mainly based on my music interests, style inspiration, my outfits and maybe some random projects or things I'm currently liking. At the moment i'm on my summer break from school. I just finished my junior cert (state exams) a few weeks ago. Presently, my camera isn't the best but hopefully I'll get a better one soon. I have another blog which I haven't updated in a while but if you'd like to look at it I will leave all of my links below. I started this blog just to start fresh! I really hope you enjoy reading my future posts!

Thank you!
